Defenders and Attackers Beware: Big Adjustments on the Horizon
Riot Games may be shaking things up on the Lotus map in VALORANT with some potential changes that could significantly impact gameplay strategies. Leak account ValorLeaks recently revealed possible adjustments to the B and C sites, aiming to widen the areas and provide defenders with more advantageous angles and corners to hold against enemy attacks.
According to the leaks, the B site entrance will be extended, giving defenders an additional side to watch B main. This forces attackers to check both the left and right sides before rushing in to plant the spike. Defenders will also have the advantage of surprise with a stack of boxes on the left side of the entrance and a large box next to the ramp leading up to the site. The site itself will feature more obstacles, offering defenders increased angles to hold against incoming enemy agents.
Similarly, the B site is set to be widened, including an extension of the left wall for attackers entering through the main entrance. This means attackers will need to carefully check multiple corners before advancing, as hidden enemies may be waiting for the perfect moment to strike.
Even B link is getting a small expansion, allowing players to safely peek down A long without exposing themselves through the small doorway. These potential changes, if implemented, will make the sites considerably larger, although no adjustments to A site were mentioned in the leaks.
Overall, these changes promise to create new dynamics and strategies for both defenders and attackers on the Lotus map in VALORANT. Players will need to adapt to the widened sites and be cautious of the additional angles and corners defenders can utilize. It remains to be seen when these changes will hit the live servers, but they are sure to shake up the gameplay experience on Lotus.
