Gamers, get ready to take on Makarov in an action-packed FPS adventure. Start preloading the Modern Warfare 3 campaign now for a few hours of intense gameplay. The preload for early access to the campaign is available for those who have preordered the game digitally on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC via Steam or Battle.net.
In the previous MW2 campaign, we were left with a cliffhanger as an unknown operator received a text saying “No Russian.” This infamous mission set the events of MW2 in motion, all thanks to the villainous Vladimir Makarov.
Makarov’s Konni Group made their presence known beyond the campaign. They were the ones responsible for the playable MW3 reveal event in Warzone, Shadow Siege. During this event, players retrieved chemical weapons, only to be betrayed and murdered by the Konni Group, who then stole the weapons for themselves.
Makarov is one of the most notorious villains in the Call of Duty series. He orchestrated the “No Russian” mission, which led to World War III by framing a U.S. agent for a massacre at a Russian airport. If MW3’s Makarov is anything like the original, we can expect a visceral, violent, and shocking campaign.
Playing through the MW3 campaign during early access offers exclusive rewards such as operators, calling cards, double XP tokens, and a special weapon blueprint. So, make sure to dive into the action and grab these goodies for free. Don’t worry if you can’t complete the campaign during early access, as the rewards will still be available.
Early access to the MW3 campaign starts tomorrow at 12pm CT, and the full game, including multiplayer and Zombies modes, will be unlocked on November 10th.
