Pokémon Go is hosting a Psychic Spectacular event next week, and it’s about time Solosis gets its shiny form. After three years, this Psychic-type Pokémon will finally shine in the game. The event will run from September 20 to September 24, giving players plenty of time to participate.
During the event, players can complete Timed Research focused on Solosis and earn extra experience by catching Pokémon with curveball throws. The wild will be teeming with Psychic-type Pokémon such as Abra, Ralts, Drowzee, and Slowpoke. Additionally, rare encounters like Galarian Ponyta, Galarian Slowpoke, and Bronzor may appear. The best part is that all wild Pokémon, except for Gothita, have a chance to be shiny.

In one-star raids, Unknown takes the lead along with Espurr. For three-star raids, you’ll find Alolan Raichu, Galarian Mr. Mime, and Hisuian Braviary, adding regional flair to the event. Mega Gardevoir will be featured in Mega raids.
Completing Field Research tasks will reward you with encounters with Kadabra, Galarian Slowpoke, Wobbuffet, Metang, Solosis, and Inkay. If you’re lucky, you may even encounter Mega Alakazam, Mega Slowbro, Mega Gardevoir, or Mega Medicham through Mega Energy from Field Research.
