Throughout the history of League of Legends, Riot Games has released popular virtual music group skins, including the renowned K/DA. Now, fans may finally get their wish for a boy band as Riot’s music department hints at new skins in development.
Riot Games’ music department recently posted a cryptic image on social media, indicating that they are “working on it.” The image features a drawing of a desk with musical equipment, along with a notebook containing hints about the upcoming project.
In the notebook, there are drawings of six characters with distinct features, including a large, burly person, a character with an eyepatch, one with goggles, a bearded fellow, a person with hair covering one eye, and another member. A sticky note with the word “rockstar” encircled suggests a musical theme.
Speculation is rife that this hints at the rumored boy band, especially with the 2023 World Championship taking place in South Korea and K-pop group ATEEZ visiting Riot’s headquarters. Fans are also guessing which champions will be part of the band.
Many community members believe that Sett will be the burly character, K’Sante the bearded character, Kayn the eyepatch champion, and Ezreal the goggles character. These assumptions align with the distinctive features of these champions’ base designs.
The identities of the other two characters are less clear, but some suggest that Aphelios and Yone could fill those roles. Data miner and content creator SkinSpotlights predicts that Kayn will receive the legendary skin, while Yone will get the gold-themed Prestige skin.
While Riot has not made any official announcements about the boy band, this teaser image has already generated excitement among the League community. Fans eagerly await the arrival of these potential global icons on the stage.
