Shopify Rebellion, one of North America’s most anticipated Dota 2 organizations, has revealed its latest roster. The team has added Thiago “Thiolicor” Cordeiro, Kartik “Kitrak” Rathi, and Erin Jasper “Yopaj” Ferrer to their lineup, while keeping Artour “Arteezy” Babaev and Jonáš “SabeRLight-” Volek from their previous roster.
Speculation about SR’s roster has been buzzing since the start of the new competitive season, and now fans are surprised to see Arteezy playing alongside relatively unknown players for the first time since 2014.
Arteezy has been a prominent figure in the NA Dota 2 scene, playing with high-profile names every year in his quest to win The International. However, despite his popularity and impressive earnings of over $2.5 million, he has yet to secure a major championship. This lack of success may have influenced his decision to start fresh with a new team.
Playing with unproven players who are eager to prove themselves could be the key to Arteezy finally lifting trophies in 2024. However, it won’t be an easy task, as other top teams, including Fly’s Nouns Dota 2 squad, are also competing in the NA region, making the qualifiers highly competitive.
