Singaporean CS:GO Players Dominate CS2 Premier with Near-Perfect Win Rates

superadmin

Three retired CS:GO players from Singapore, Kumaresan “Tommy” Ramani, Leslie “Bobosaur” Soen, and Nevin “splashske” Aw, are currently dominating the CS2 Premier mode with their exceptional win rates. Since the addition of Premier mode to the CS2 beta on Aug. 31, the trio has played over 100 matches, with Bobosaur boasting the highest win rate in the world at 97.95 percent. Tommy follows closely behind with a 97.3 percent win rate under the alias “Kurosaki,” and splashske ranks fourth with a 96.75 percent win rate.

These players primarily focus on playing Premier mode together, and fans can even watch their matches live through Tommy’s Twitch streams. Previously, they competed for renowned teams in the Southeast Asia region, such as Paper Rex and B.O.O.T-d[S]. While Tommy and Bobosaur retired in 2021, splashske stopped playing professionally in 2022.

It is worth noting that the trio’s impressive win rates in CS2 Premier are partly due to the lower-level opponents they face. The player base in their server is relatively small, as many CS:GO players in the region have transitioned to other FPS titles, particularly VALORANT, in recent years.

Dot Esports analyzed the matches played by Tommy, Bobosaur, and splashske on Sept. 13 and found that they often encountered opponents with around 15,000 MMR, around 10,000 MMR, or even unranked players. This disparity in skill level is not their fault but rather a consequence of the limited pool of high-level players in their region.

However, it is uncertain whether they would achieve the same level of dominance if they were playing on a European server, for instance. The true test of their skills will come when more players join the CS2 server after Valve releases the game officially, which is expected to happen soon according to the developer’s announcement on Sept. 13.

In conclusion, Kumaresan “Tommy” Ramani, Leslie “Bobosaur” Soen, and Nevin “splashske” Aw have been showcasing their near-perfect win rates in CS2 Premier. While their achievements are remarkable, it is important to consider the context of their opponents’ skill levels. Only time will tell if they can maintain their dominance once the player base expands with the official release of CS2.
