The highly anticipated sequel to Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 may feature a team-up between Spider-Man and Daredevil, according to Bryan Intihar, the creative director of Insomniac Games.
In a recent Easter egg discovered by fans, the office of Nelson and Murdock, the law firm where Matt Murdock, aka Daredevil, works during the day, has undergone a significant change. The sign for the law office has been replaced with a pink eviction notice, suggesting that the office is now empty.
When asked about this Easter egg in an episode of IGN’s Beyond podcast, Intihar responded, “That’s a good question. Stay tuned. Good find, though.”
This cryptic response has sparked speculation among Marvel gamers. Could Daredevil be making an appearance in Spider-Man 3, or is there a Daredevil game in the works? Only time will tell.
Spider-Man and Daredevil have a long history of teaming up in the comics, as both heroes operate in Manhattan. With the introduction of Wilson Fisk, also known as Kingpin, in the original game, there is a possibility that he could return, providing an opportunity for Daredevil to join forces with Spider-Man to take him down.
Seeing Spider-Man and Daredevil team up would undoubtedly be an exciting prospect for fans. It would also be interesting to play as Daredevil, utilizing his unique abilities such as sonar-like hearing and impressive combat skills.
Even if Daredevil doesn’t make an appearance in the Sony gamerverse, fans can look forward to Charlie Cox reprising his role as Murdock in the upcoming Daredevil: Born Again series in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, which will be available on Disney Plus.
