On October 4th, it was announced that cadiaN had left Heroic due to differing visions for the team’s future. Since then, he has been actively searching for a new team and has previously been linked with Liquid and Ninjas in Pyjamas. However, this recent tweet suggests that Liquid is close to securing his services.
Bringing cadiaN on board would be a logical move for Liquid, as there are few other CS2 teams with open roster spots. Additionally, the team could benefit from the experience and leadership of a veteran IGL to replace Rainwaker, potentially allowing YEKINDAR to return to his rifler role.
The main challenge would be determining the role of current sniper oSee if cadiaN were to join. As an IGL, cadiaN has also served as a main AWPer for his previous teams. This would require oSee to adjust his role within the team.
