Team Vitality, a prominent League of Legends team, is reportedly parting ways with their mid laner, Luka “Perkz” Perković, and promoting academy jungler Kacper “Daglas” Dagiel to their main roster. This decision comes as Team Vitality aims to rebuild their LEC roster for the upcoming 2024 season.
Perkz, who joined the team in December 2021 after a stint with Cloud9 in North America, is known as one of the top mid laners in the LEC. With numerous regional titles and a Worlds final appearance in 2019, Perkz’s departure from Team Vitality suggests that he will be seeking new opportunities elsewhere next year.
Reports also indicate that Team Vitality is considering a complete overhaul of their roster, indicating further changes during the offseason. As part of this restructuring, academy jungler Daglas is set to be promoted to the main roster for the upcoming season. Turning 18 on October 23, Daglas will become eligible to compete at the highest level.
Daglas has already made his debut on the LEC stage during the 2023 season, helping Team Vitality qualify for Summer Groups. Despite their efforts, the team struggled and finished at the bottom of the rankings, despite their third-place finish in the Spring Playoffs.
While these roster changes have been reported, Team Vitality has yet to officially confirm them. Fans and followers of the team will eagerly await further updates on the team’s plans for the upcoming season.
