Format and Changes
The TFT Set Nine/9.5 World Championship introduces a Snake Seeding system, adding a twist to the competition. Players will be shuffled into different lobbies based on their rankings and performance, creating intense matchups. The first two days will feature six games each day, with no eliminations. The top eight players at the end of day two will advance to the finals on day three.
The Checkmate format returns for the finals, but with a higher point threshold of 20. Players who reach this threshold and win their next game will be crowned the Runeterra Reforged World Champion.
