A recent leak has revealed an exciting new ability of Topaz & Numby in Honkai: Star Rail. This dynamic duo will now assist players in exploring the game’s world by locating hidden chests and leading them to their treasures.
In a leaked exploration footage, Numby, Topaz’s adorable partner Trotter, can be seen eagerly chasing after a chest in a previously unseen area of Belobog. While finding chests in Honkai: Star Rail is not overly challenging, some can be quite tricky to locate. With the addition of Topaz & Numby’s ability, this issue will become almost non-existent.
Although the exact mechanics of this ability are still unclear, previous leaks of Topaz’s kit did not mention anything about chest hunting. It is possible that her existing Technique will be replaced, or Numby will actively search for chests as players explore the world.
Topaz & Numby, a newly announced 5-star character in Honkai: Star Rail, follows the Path of the Hunt and wields the Fire element. This makes her the first Fire Hunt character in the game, potentially making her a formidable Fire DPS option.
Currently, there are four Fire characters in the game, with two serving as supports (Fire Trailblazer and Asta) and two designed for DPS (Hook and Himeko). However, none of them stand out significantly in terms of damage output.
The combination of being the first ability in the game to aid in exploration and Topaz’s status as the first Fire Hunt character makes her a valuable addition in the upcoming update.
Topaz & Numby are expected to be available during the second phase of the 1.4 update in Honkai: Star Rail, alongside the introduction of Guinaifen, a 4-star Fire Nihility character.
