At the CoD Next event for the Modern Warfare 3 reveal, professional Call of Duty player Shotzzy discovered a tragic and unexpected way to meet his demise in the Gulag. While testing out the new Warzone mode with fellow CoD stars Scump and Methodz, Shotzzy’s attempt to join his teammates took a disastrous turn.
As the team discussed their next move, they decided it would be wise to travel on foot to avoid drawing attention. However, Shotzzy’s decision to exit a moving vehicle proved fatal. He found himself behind the SUV as it continued to reverse, knocking him down instantly. With his teammates too far away to revive him, Shotzzy helplessly succumbed to the unmanned vehicle’s merciless onslaught.
Scump and Methodz were left in disbelief, jokingly suggesting that Shotzzy sacrificed himself for a TikTok video. Shotzzy himself admitted to the mistake, laughing in frustration as his chat playfully mocked him. This incident is not uncommon in Warzone, as any collision with a speeding vehicle can incapacitate a player.
Despite this unfortunate mishap, the CoD Next beta has been filled with exciting reveals, amusing moments, and a great deal of anticipation as the community eagerly awaits the release of Modern Warfare 3 in November.
