In the upcoming Patch 10.2 of World of Warcraft, players will have the opportunity to unlock a new customization option for their Dragonriding mounts. Previously, only a few color variations were available, but now, a white scale option will be introduced.
To obtain the white scales, players must complete the Tyr questline, which began earlier in the expansion and will conclude in Patch 10.2. Once the questline is finished, the white scales will be applied to all Dragonriding drakes, including the Cliffside Wylderdrake, Highland Drake, Renewed Proto-Drake, Windborne Velocidrake, Winding Slitherdrake, Grotto Netherwing Drake, and the new Flourishing Whimsydrake.
In addition to the white scales, Patch 10.2 will also introduce the Flourishing Whimsydrake as a new Dragonriding mount. This mount can be obtained by completing the main questline in the Emerald Dream. Furthermore, customization options for the Grotto Netherwing Drake, which was previously available through the Trading Post, will also be added in this patch.
To change the color of your Dragonriding drake, simply visit the Rostrum of Transformation after unlocking the white scales.
Dragonflight Patch 10.2 is set to release on November 7th, followed by the start of a new season on November 14th. The new season will bring exciting content such as the Amirdrassil raid and a new Mythic+ dungeon pool.
