This limited-time event will also introduce a shiny variant of Detective Pikachu, a first for the game. Additionally, a shiny Slowpoke wearing a cowboy hat will make its debut during the event.
Shiny Detective Pikachu will not only be available to catch, but it will also photobomb spawns, adding an extra element of excitement. Other potential shiny Pokémon that can be found during the event include Growlithe, Exeggutor, Magikarp, Lotad, Chimecho, and Bronzor.
The Detective Pikachu Returns event will kick off on October 5th at 10am local time and will run until October 9th at 8pm local time. It’s the perfect opportunity for trainers to immerse themselves in the world of Detective Pikachu before the game’s official release.
