The highly anticipated beta test for VALORANT Mobile is set to begin in mid-September, but unfortunately, it will be exclusive to China and Android users. This news comes after leaked screenshots and footage of the game surfaced online, showcasing its similarities to the PC version of VALORANT.
While the leaked content suggests that VALORANT Mobile is nearing its final stages of development, Riot Games has yet to announce an official release date. However, with 2023 coming to a close, it seems likely that the game will be launched sometime in 2024.
VALORANT Mobile was initially confirmed in June 2021 following the immense success of the PC version. However, Riot has remained relatively tight-lipped about its development progress. It is also unclear whether the game will be available for iOS or if it will be limited to Android devices.
According to leaks, the plan is to release VALORANT Mobile in China first before expanding it to the rest of the world. Each beta test is expected to have a small pool of players, and interested Chinese players must pre-register through Tencent Pioneer, have a QQ or WeChat account, and provide a cellphone number.
It’s worth noting that VALORANT is not only making its way to mobile but also to consoles. Riot Games seems determined to bring the popular tactical shooter to a wider audience across various platforms.
