Will these nerfs be enough to stop the pro meta?

superadmin

The League of Legends Patch 13.19, known as the 2023 World Championship Patch, is here, and it seems that Kai’Sa has managed to avoid the nerfs that were expected. However, other champions like Rek’Sai, Renekton, and Zeri were not so lucky.

RiotPhroxzon, the head of Riot’s balancing team, has revealed the final changes before Worlds, and while there are several buffs, only three champions are being nerfed. These nerfs are aimed at bringing balance to champions who have benefited too much from recent item buffs.

Champion Change
Rek’Sai Nerfed
Renekton Nerfed
Zeri Nerfed

Zeri, in particular, has been a popular choice for AD carry in professional play, and Riot aims to introduce more variety in the bot lane by nerfing her. It is surprising that Kai’Sa was not included in the nerfs, considering her popularity. However, Riot has already nerfed one of her core items, Statikk Shiv, in a previous patch, which has balanced her win rate.

It is important to note that these changes are tentative and may be adjusted before the patch goes live. The full patch details are expected to be released soon.
