CS2 Flashbang Bug: Another Game-Breaking Issue Discovered

Tim Price

A new bug has been found in CS2, this time involving flashbang grenades. In a video shared on Reddit, a player threw a flashbang in front of them to slow down the enemy team, but nothing happened. The player was not blinded at all and could continue pushing the enemy. This bug seems to affect all flashes in the game, as other players’ flashes were also ineffective.

The community believes that Valve will fix this bug soon after seeing it on Reddit, as it is a game-breaking issue. However, without overwatch in place, players abusing this bug may not face any consequences. This puts players at a disadvantage, as they can be killed by enemies who should have been blinded.

CS2 has had several bugs since its release, including knife hit registration issues and players being killed through walls. Valve recently released a patch to fix many of these issues, so it is likely that another bug-fixing patch will be released soon.

Date Issue Status
Nov. 7 Flashbang bug discovered Ongoing
Nov. 2 Knife hit registration bug Fixed
