A Marvel Snap player achieved an incredible victory by doing absolutely nothing in the game. They shared a video on Sep. 3, showcasing their success despite not spending any energy or playing any cards. Surprisingly, they managed to build an incredibly strong board.
The player’s side of the locations featured powerful cards such as Odin, Captain Marvel, Arnim Zola, Doctor Doom, and The Infinaut with 20 Power. It may seem unbelievable that they didn’t spend any energy to play these cards, but it was made possible by a specific card called Jubilee.
Jubilee is a four-cost, one-Power card that brings the top card of the player’s deck to the location where she is played. In this case, Jubilee was placed on the Sakaar location, allowing her to call a card from the hand without spending its corresponding energy. This triggered a chain of unexpected events for the player.
After Jubilee was placed on Sakaar, she called Arnim Zola, who then destroyed and summoned two copies of Jubilee on other locations. The left Jubilee was placed on Kamar-Taj, activating Jubilee’s ability twice. This resulted in the summoning of Odin and The Infinaut. Odin’s ability to reactivate all On Reveal abilities on the location paved the way for Jubilee to call Captain Marvel.
Meanwhile, the right Jubilee called Doctor Doom, creating a powerful DoomBot in the middle. This led to the opponent surrendering, as their side only had Korg summoned by Sakaar.
The video received over 500 upvotes and numerous comments from other players expressing their envy of the player’s luck.
