Baldur’s Gate 3 is getting ready for its PS5 release, and Larian has just released hotfix #5 to address some performance issues and add new romance content. This time, the focus is on Minthara, who will not be too pleased if players have romantic relationships with other characters.
In this latest update, players who choose to side with the goblins and absolutists can unlock Minthara as a companion. The hotfix allows these players to engage in new dialogue and deepen their relationship with the ruthless Drow paladin.
According to Larian, if players have a high enough approval rating with Minthara, their romance will progress in Act three. This unlocks new dialogues that explore and develop the relationship, revealing more details about Minthara’s backstory. Players can expect interactive and non-interactive voiced lines with Minthara as a romantic partner.
Larian also mentions that other companions will comment on the player’s relationship with Minthara and may even face Minthara’s disapproval if they have had any romantic interactions. It seems that Minthara is not open to polyamory like some of the other companions.
Overall, this hotfix adds more romance content for Minthara and enhances the player’s experience with this character. Players can look forward to deepening their relationship and uncovering more about Minthara’s story.
